My word

I was just checking out Ali Edwards' blog and she shared a whole bunch of words that people have selected to be "their" word for the year. I was reading Kal Barteski's blog yesterday and her word last year was GO, this year it is AM. I started wondering what my word would be if I had one. So when I read Ali's blog today, I knew I just had to chose my own word for this year. I have decided that my word for 2008 is HOPE.
HOPE
"Not wishful thinking but firm assurance"
I HOPE for balance with family time and work
I HOPE for new creativity and inspiration
I HOPE for financial security
I HOPE for others less fortunate than myself
I HOPE for blossoming in old and new friendships
I HOPE to be the best me I can be
I HOPE for so much more...
What's your word for this year going to be? I would love to know... since only my mom and Fi ever read it - I challenge you both to pick your own word for this year!

"Do"and I have been quite good with it already... I have crossed a whole lot of stuff off my to do list already and it is only the...um...8th! Instead of walking past something a hundred times saying I must do that, I stop and "do"..tightened a loose screw on my sunglasses, took down the Christmas tree, washed the fingerprints off the light switch, etc

Hey there! My word last year was "slow down" (I know- it's a phrase...) and for this year it's "simplify"...

Last year my word was "Restore", this year's word is "embrace".

Amazing, the tests last year was full of! This year I embrace everything. All those moments.
